RUDERF’s 2018 SHE STANDS Ambassador Launches The W.I.N Project: A Leap Towards Empowering Young Women

The She Stands Ambassadors Program, an initiative by the Rural Development and Reformation Foundation (RUDERF), has long been a platform designed to identify, nurture, and support young women with immense potential to become global leaders.

Since its inception, the program has made remarkable strides, empowering 3000 girls across three editions in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Through this transformative initiative, young women were enlightened on the critical role of women in community development and the importance of personal growth.

A Legacy of Empowerment: Princess Favour Ajagbe’s Leadership

The culmination of the 2018 She Stands Ambassadors Program was a momentous occasion, as Princess Favour Ajagbe was recognized with the Outstanding Ambassador Award. Her dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the cause of women’s empowerment set her apart. Not only did Princess Favour excel in her role as an ambassador, but she also went on to establish a pet project that has been making waves in the social impact space—The Woman In You (The W.I.N Project).

Since its launch, the W.I.N Project has become a beacon of hope for young females across Nigeria, advocating for gender equality, self-expression, and societal contribution. The initiative has reached over 600 young women, inspiring them to find their voices, embrace their identity, and actively engage in community and social issues.

The W.I.N Project: Creating a Future of Empowered Women

The W.I.N Project is not just an advocacy campaign—it is a call to action for young women to rise above challenges and carve out a place for themselves in society. At the heart of this initiative is the belief that every girl has the potential to change the world, and by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and support, Princess Favour Ajagbe and the W.I.N Project are laying the foundation for a brighter, more inclusive future.

In addition to its advocacy for gender equality, the W.I.N Project focuses on offering mentorship, educational resources, and opportunities for young girls to develop their leadership skills. By empowering women to speak up and stand tall in the face of societal barriers, the project has inspired countless young females to take on leadership roles, pursue higher education, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
