Education Without Borders Project
In 2023, we took a significant step forward with the launch of the Education Without Borders Project in partnership with the TY Danjuma Foundation. This initiative focuses on capacity building and teacher training in public and government-funded schools, equipping teachers with 21st-century skills and incorporating activity-based learning to improve educational outcomes. Since its inception, the project has directly impacted over 500 teachers and indirectly benefited an additional 1,000 teachers through our stepdown initiative, ultimately reaching over 12,000 children in classrooms across South-South Nigeria.

How it Works!
LUMINA operates through a multi-faceted approach that includes establishing a tech hub in Delta State, providing sponsorships for 100 girls, offering paid internships, and conducting a 6-week Accelerator Workshop. The tech hub serves as a central learning space, while the sponsorships cover comprehensive training and access to resources. Internships provide practical experience, and the Accelerator Workshop equips participants with the skills needed for global tech careers.
Objective
The primary objective of LUMINA is to bridge the digital divide and create equitable access to technology education and career opportunities for girls from rural, economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
